Original Vintage Psychedelic Poster of Jimi Hendrix. Promotion for KPPC Radio.

Description

KPPC-FM (now defunct) was a Pasadena, California FM radio station best known during the period 1967–1971, when it was one of the leading "Hip Underground" radio stations in the United States.
In order to protect this 1968 Jimi Hendrix Experience promotional poster and prevent any further wear to this very rare work of art, the piece will be shipped encased within a metal frame and sandwiched between glass and archival quality 100% acid free rag board. The pictures above document the condition of the poster; thumb-tack holes in all four corners, a thin horizontal/diagonal crease with about a 1 1/2 inch tear, several other very tiny hole/punctures and some random pencil marks. Even with some imperfections, this framed poster views extremely well and it's overall appearance is very cool and is ready to be displayed anywhere in your home or office. The artist given credit for this poster, Bob Masse, re-released a 2nd edition version of this poster with smaller overall dimensions in the early 2000's. It should be noted that the majority of the posters on the market are reproductions.
