Is a vintage (1980's
) Hand crafted block Meerschaum Rhodesian shaped pipe, which the Artist has named "Byzantine", by the highly famed Supreme Master Carver Eyup Sabri. Highly intricate carving motifs of roses with enormous amount of detail. Mainly, a bowl that looks like sitting in the center of a rose adorned basket. Sturdy and ornate stem was made out of water buffalo horn. Comes in a custom fit blue velvet covered, satin and velvet lined display box, with an authenticity card, and an ornate meerschaum handled
tamper.
Shows some aging, including some natural darkening around the chamber and the bottom of the bowl but given their age, both the pipe and the box are in very good condition. As intricate and delicate a pipe this is, it is nevertheless a mainstream size, weight and shape and therefore easy to carry and smoke.
